Had a wonderful stay at Rose Lodge, Bruce, Coco & Teddy were wonderful hosts! Thank you very much, we will definitely be back when we come to Cape Town again!!

i and my friend, both traveled to cape town as students and stayed at Orange on Rose for a week. It is an excellent place, very well situated (near the heart of the city), quiet, secure (a security guard stands there all night, right across the house), roomy. Free breakfast - unlimited and healthy. Free wi-fi. The rooms are very clean, and cleaned daily. Bruce is the most caring host I have met, always doing his best to help, while still valuing our private space. He is incredibly knowledgeable, took out time to dine with us, point out to us the routes, maps, restaurants, show us around; gave us safety tips, arranged our airport transfers for us and he did all of it as if it was a part of the deal. Importantly he did it with joy -- never saw him ruffled about any of it. The place is awesome, and the host a gem of a human being. I enjoyed my stay a lot more because of this -- I highly recommend it.

| We stayed at Rose Lodge for 9 nights. It was our first ever stay at B&B so I was a bit nervous before arriving at the door. I am happy to report that I worried for nothing. Bruce made us feel comfortable right away. The first impression was the cleanliness - our room and common areas were spotless. The decor was elegant and modern. We loved the location, it was so close to the good restaurants and places we wanted to visit. The very first day we walked to the V&A Waterfront and it was so easy. We rented a car for part of our stay (Bruce helped us with it) and it was easy and safe to park outside the Lodge. For dogs lovers, the resident dogs Coco and Teddy are the best ! I still miss them !!! So, it was a perfect stay in Cape Town.

| I stayed at Rose Lodge for 14 nights and was very pleased with the room, the cleanliness, and the amenability of Bruce. I loved the location, and would most definitely consider staying there again. Bruce is a terrific host and back in Berlin I miss his two dogs, Coco and Teddy. Thanks Bruce!
